Home to 413 residents, The Town of Ronda is a small town happily situated in northwestern North Carolina, located along Highway 268 in Wilkes County, just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and a forty minute drive from Winston-Salem. In addition, the Town is only minutes from US 421 and Interstate 77. The Town of Ronda is served by the Wilkes County Airport, Elkin Municipal Airport, Piedmont Triad International Airport, and the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The Town is also less than 15 minutes from the Surry Community College Elkin Center, 20 minutes from Wilkes Community College, an hour from both Wake Forest University and Winston-Salem State University, and an hour and a half from Appalachian State University.
